Did everyone forget Hylia exists? She definitely still played a part in this, albeit inspirational wise. The Zonai may have been able to contact Hylia via the statues and asked for guidance. Then, using their technology and magic prowess, was able to create the Sky Islands (only because Zelda needed a way to protect Link while he recovered. Again).

This works because the Lomei ruins, BOTW Zonai ruins and Typhlo ruins have a different looking dragon on their design, hence being beast zonai

Lomei translating to maze, I think that means that the place is a maze, I don't think this theory holds up well. The ancient hero carries Zonai and Hylian traits, and given the time gap I'd assume that with each generation this bloodline looked more and more hylian and less and less zonai, cause it looks like a cross between the two. POTENTIALLY the red hair could be from a gerudo, which I did not consider until now given how gerudo and hylian tend to create gerudos, or they just wanted it to fully tie in eith the mural.

My headcannon is that there use to be zonite on the surface a long time ago but as the zonie used more and more of it they had to go deeper and deeper to reach any. That's when the discovered the depths and started mining the zionite there. I also like to think that they were only just getting started when the zonie decided to abandon it all and left(or all died out) and that explains to me when I get the feeling that everything down in the depths feels like it was stoped halfway through whatever they were doing. Is the anything to support this headcannon? No but I still like to think this is what happened

I think there are some clear characteristics that possibly link this guy to Ganondorf, the red hair, the gem socketed in the forehead. Links sleeve has some gerudo like symbols on them that match the Dusk Claymore (Ganondorfs sword) almost perfectly.

I mean, the Master Sword only repels evil. That’s why touching it in TP turns wolf Link back to normal, by repelling Zaby’s spell out of his body. Theoretically, anyone who wasn’t consumed by darkness (Ganondorf, Zant, Malidus, etc) could touch it and feel no harm. In fact, the only real qualification for Link is usually just getting to it or unlocking the pedestal with some sort of trial. Heck, WW Link gets the Master Sword without even being recognized by the Triforce. So I think any rando or even a sufficiently neutral Goblin could probably handle it. HECK, actually, using the TP example, maybe there’s just a really noble Goblin out there now who had all the evils pushed out of him by the sword before he dropped it??

My guess is that, because the sword has been freshly forged, the power to repel evil still needs to be directed by the Spirit of the Hero to be effective, allowing even evil beings to touch the hilt as long as Link isn't. Once The blade has rested for millennia or two in sacred locations, such as inside the Goddess Statue at the end, or the Temple of Time in the OOT continuity, and had a chance to absorb more sacred energy, it's able to become the full Blade of Evil's Bane.

How to make a game theory: take a world, use lack of a certain thing happening to impose your own arbitrary law on the world, debunk said law to generate intrigue. Simple answer they just used a cloth to touch the master sword I don't really know how the magic works but I'm assuming if you wield it while wearing a glove or bare-handed then it's going to attack you or something like that but I feel like if you put a cloth around it or something like that then you're perfectly protected and you can transport it properly

You this explains EVERYTHING! The master sword is weak in botw but after the trials it is raw 60 AND invincible, because the monks gave THEIR BLESSING to the master sword! And the master sword isn’t the same in Totk because link doesn’t canonically do the trials due to not every player having done it! And this video is the final chain broken to this secret!

I think the easiest explanation is just that it fell there. It's not the most realistic one but I think it's the most plausible one considering how it looks like it fell and Pierced the ground

I believe it most likely has something to do with Zelda changing the course of history when she went back 10,000 years. It's possible such materials didnt exist near the surface during BOTW, but Zelda may have found a way to task the Sages and constructs with preserving the resource that would later be sent to sky island.

I just assumed that the ancient princess was Zelda and that the ancient hero was Rauru's assumption on what Link looked like.
